The Manaslu Circuit is the premier remote wilderness trek in Nepal. Encircling Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), you will explore untouched Gurung and Tibetan-influenced Nubri villages, ancient mani walls, Birendra Glacier Lake, and cross the remote Larke La Pass (5,106m).

Day by Day Schedule

Detailed Yatra Itinerary

Scenic 4WD drive via Arughat and Soti Khola along the Budhi Gandaki river.
Trek through subtropical river canyons, hot springs at Tatopani, to the stone-paved village of Jagat.
Enter the restricted Nubri valley. Cross bamboo and rhododendron forests to Deng.
Pass Mani walls and climb up to Namrung with first views of Manaslu and Himalchuli.
Trek past barley fields to Lho village with direct close-up views of Mount Manaslu peak.
Trek into the expansive alpine valley of Samagaon surrounded by glacial peaks.
Hike to turquoise Birendra glacial lake or ancient Pungyen Gompa beneath the east face of Manaslu.
Follow the Budhi Gandaki river past yak pastures to Samdo, just miles from the Tibetan border.
Ascend along the moraine of Larke Glacier to high camp at Dharamsala.
Pre-dawn summit of Larke La Pass (5,106m). Dramatic views of Himlung, Kang Guru, and Annapurna II. Descend to Bimthang.
Descend through alpine forests of rhododendron and pine to meet the Annapurna circuit trail at Dharapani.
4WD drive back to Kathmandu hotel.
