Day by Day Schedule

Detailed Yatra Itinerary

Scenic highway drive following Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers to Dharapani gateway.
Trek through pine forests with first views of Annapurna II and Lamjung Himal.
Pass the colossal 1,500m curved rock face of Paungda Danda to Upper Pisang.
High route via Ghyaru and Ngawal with stunning panoramas of Annapurna II, III, IV, and Gangapurna.
Rest and explore turquoise Gangapurna glacial lake and Milarepa Cave.
Gentle uphill walk along alpine pastures grazing yaks and Himalayan blue sheep.
Ascend to the base of Thorong La Pass. Early dinner and rest before summit day.
Pre-dawn crossing of Thorong La Pass (5,416m). Descend down to the sacred temple town of Muktinath.
Morning temple darshan. 4WD drive down Kali Gandaki gorge to natural hot springs at Tatopani.
